NOTES: song Rosa sings

[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Rosalyn was actually pretty bored at the current moment. She was done with her classes for the day so she was currently laying on her bed listening to some music. This is what she would normally do when she had free time. She would listen to music and even sing along as well. She was a pretty fair singer in all honesty. She didn't think that she was anything all that special. There were definately better singers than her out there. When the song came to an end, she hopped off her bed and stretched a bit. She figured that she should do something productive today so she decided to head to the park to try and at least practice her singing a bit. Maybe she could get something done today if she were lucky. She grabbed her messenger bag and stuffed some notebooks into it, just in case she wanted to do so school work as well.
Once everything was ready, she grabbed her leather jacket and her room keys and headed out of the room. Maybe some fresh air would do her some good. It wasn't always great to stay in her room, right? She had a wide smile on her lips as she walked along to her destination. It didn't take her long to reach the park, which she was happy about. She then noticed that the park was rather desolate today. There were a few people around but that was it. Usually, it was a lot more packed but she guessed that people had things to do and people to see. She walked over to a nearby bench and set her messenger bag down and took a breath. She pulled out her iPod and chose a song to sing to. After a moment of searching, she found the song and pressed play.
Then the beat began to play and she closed her eyes and bobbed her head in time to the music. Then came the beginning of the verse and she began to sing:
I want a cup that overflows with love Although it's not enough to fill my heart I want a barrel full of love Although I know it's not enough to fill my heart I want a river full of love But then I know the holes will still remain I need an ocean full of love Although I know the holes will still remain
As the song went on, she continued singing with her eyes closed. She could focus better that way. She sang until the song ended and little did she know that she had attracted a tiny crowd with her song.

The dirge was a place that Jules still could not fully comprehend. The sun and sky were the same as on earth as were the people (more or less). It had not even been month since the day the young woman arrived in dirge. The moment she came to in the world of the dead had not been easy. The second she awoke suddenly in the middle of the president of the college’s office was bizarre to say the least. She was given a schedule of classes (all the while she was bewildered) and given a room in the dorms. Well, the acquaintances she acquired were understanding of her dilemma and were pleasant enough to show her the ropes of living in dirge… if living was the proper term to use in a place made for the dead.
Still perplexed with the notion of officially being dead, Jules roamed the park. The sun shone brightly, the skies were clear of clouds. It was funny almost, that the land of the dead had such perfect weather. That however, did not explain the lack of beings like her in the park. Jules supposed that, not all the patrons of dirge enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was the opposite rather and enjoyed spending her time in the sun as much as possible. Jules supposed she had a duty to be optimistic if she were to understand the complexities of death, dirge and the people and to be content herself simply living in dirge.
She heard soft music from her position within the park. She remembered the situation would occur when she would jog in the park when she was breathing and living on the actual earth. Jules could easily remember how much she loved to watch a performance and stay in her spot for a while, forgetting about her worries simply by listening to musician play. In a slightly better mood, Jules walked her way through the park, in an attempt to find the source of the music. The attempt took Jules a while and she arrived merely a minute before the musician finished playing her guitar and slowly brought her voice low. Others were already crowded around the young woman, attracted to the sound of music just as Jules was. The others clapped and feeling the need to do the same, Jules brought her hands together and clapped along. Still, despite the while, Jules thought the young woman had a wonderful voice.
The rest of the crowd left and Jules was the only bystander left. Bringing a smile to grace her face, Jules walked up to the young woman. “That was a beautiful piece!” She began, happily. “You have wonderful talent.” Jules laughed a bit.

[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Rosalyn had quite honestly never had this much fun singing in front of this many people before. She was normally so used to singing to herself or a group of friends but never to this many people. And more and more were crowding around her. Plus, none of them were booing her so that made the whole thing even better. She figured that she should try singing in front of large groups more often, it made her feel really good about herself and her voice.
A few minutes later, she finished the song with a big smile. When she opened her eyes and saw just how big the crowd around her was. It wasn't enormous or anything like that but it wasn't an extremely small crowd either. It was a normal type of size of a crowd. It was giving her a rush in all honesty and she was enjoying every minute of it. She took her earphones out and smiled brightly as everyone began to walk away after giving compliments. She pulled her iPod out of her pocket and turned it off so that it didn't waste any battery life.
“That was a beautiful piece! You have wonderful talent.” She turned and saw the blonde as she spoke and Rosa couldn't help but smile wide. "Thanks! This is the first time I've ever performed in front of that many people though," she gave a chuckle before turning her attention back to the blonde. "The name's Rosalyn Stark but most call me Rosa. It's nice to meet ya." She held out her hand for the other girl to shake, still with that happy smile on her lips.
